Dani Peeler
Title: Assistant Coach

Dani currently serves as the assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s water polo programs as well as the swim team here at Saddleback.    She is also in her fifth year coaching girl’s water polo at her alma mater Capistrano Valley High School, where she is presently the junior varsity coach for the Cougars.

Prior to coaching, Dani attended Saddleback College where she set a school record for goals and is also in the top-6 all-time for records in steals, assists, ejections drawn, and field blocks.  Dani was twice named her team's MVP and team captain and earned consecutive First Team All-Orange Empire Conference and scholar athlete honors.  She also competed in swimming at Saddleback where she was an OEC Conference finalist in the 1,650 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle.  Dani then transferred to UC Santa Barbara and played water polo for the NCAA Division I Gauchos under three-time Olympian Wolf Wigo.

Coach Peeler was also a four-year varsity letter-winner at Capistrano Valley High School.  She twice earned First Team All-South Coast League honors.  Peeler was twice named the Cougar Team Captain and was named team MVP her senior year.  She twice led her team to CIF Division I playoffs.  She also competed in swimming for the Cougars.

Dani received her bachelor's degree in English from UC Santa Barbara and a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University. 

Dani attributes much of her success to competing and training internationally in Hungary, Slovakia and Canada.
