    The Saddleback softball team picked up an important win on Friday with an 8-0 victory over Riverside City College at Trani Field. Nelsa Delagente silenced the Tigers while the offensive took advantage of a number of defensive miscues by Riverside.

    The Saddleback softball team defeated San Diego Mesa College, 11-3, on Monday in a makeup game that was postponed in February due to rain. The Gauchos hammered out 14 hits in 5+ innings, ending the game in the bottom of the sixth inning.

    The Saddleback softball team had a rare non-conference game on Monday when they hosted San Diego City College before a critical week of conference play. The Gauchos made quick work of the Knights, scoring early and often in a 12-1 win.
