The Saddleback men's basketball team was back in the news with week as the basketball office announced that guard Kevin Miller has signed a letter of intent.  Miller will continue his career at Hastings College.

Saddleback basketball now has three players moving on after Miller made his decision.  He joins Breaon Brady (Houston) and T.J. Shorts (UC Davis) as the third member choosing a new home.

Miller averaged 5.2 points and 1.0 rebounds-per-game, playing in 28 of 29 games this past season.  He shot 46.4% from three-point range and 71.4% from the free throw line for the year, finishing third on the team in steals.  Miller had a season-high 18 points against Santa Ana on January 20 when he finished 4-of-4 from beyond the arc.

Hastings College is located in Hastings, Nebraska, and plays in the Great Plains Athletic Conference under the NAIA umbrella.  The Broncos finished 14-17 overall in 2016-17.
