The 17th annual Saddleback College Athletic Department fundraising golf tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo.
This event is the main fundraiser for the entire athletic department, including each of the college's 20 intercollegiate athletic teams as well as the support programs such as the Sports Medicine office, Sports Information office, and the PASS Program (Program Assisting Student-Athlete Success). This year's tournament will mark the end of the college's 50th birthday celebration. Saddleback has now completed 50 years of intercollegiate competition in the sports of football, men's basketball, baseball, track and field, and cross country.
Entry fees remain low at just $175 per person (or $700 per foursome) if received by the Early Bird deadline of May 16. Otherwise, fees will be $200 per person and $800 per foursome.
This has proven to be a fun-filled day of friendship and camaraderie on the golf course for all participants and sponsors. This tournament has raised over $200,000 in additional funding for the athletic department over the past 16 years and our goal is to raise $50,000 this year in honor of the college's 50th birthday.
